Dr. Tanya Sitter grew up in Airdrie and is now living in Carstairs, Alberta. She graduated from the University of Calgary with a BSc. in 2000. Following her desire to become involved in health care, Dr. Sitter went on to the University of Waterloo School of Optometry and graduated with honors in 2004. It was an easy decision to return to Alberta and join Olds Eyecare Clinic. In 2004, Dr. Sitter did her internship in Olds. She has been on several third world eyecare missions including Nepal, Guatemala, New Zealand, and Mexico. Dr. Sitter is currently serving as a council member on the Canadian Association of Optometry and has a special interest in pediatrics and dry eyes.
In her spare time, Tanya enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband Mark and sons, Gavin and Kai. Dr. Sitter has a special interest in pediatric care and dry eye though is happy to see all patients in Sundre and Olds.
